Captain Speke (– 2013) was a United States Army Ranger assigned to a United States Army base in South Korea. During World War Z, he and the men under his command later assisted Gerry Lane in the investigation of zombies, or zekes, as Speke liked to call them.
After escorting Gerry back to his plane with a team of his men, Captain Speke was infected while saving Gerry's life and killed himself, before he could turn into a zeke.
United States Army serviceEdit
He has served with the 75th Ranger Regiment (Indicated by the Ranger Scroll as his combat patch) and was West Point commissioned. He is Ranger and Airborne qualified. At an unknown point in time, Speke was assigned to report to Camp Humphrey's, South Korea. He appears to have been with the 2nd Infantry Division as the 2nd ID unit patch was present on his arm.
While escorting Gerry back to the plane, Speke was infected by a Zeke. However, before he could turn into one, he informed his team and snipers that he'd take care of it and killed himself.
